The energy company Jönköping Energi has started a collaboration with Bright Energy AB. Together, they will develop a digital platform that makes it easier to maximize the climate benefits from renewable energy.

We at Bright want to be involved and contribute to a sustainable future. We look forward to collaborating with Jönköping Energi and enabling more customers to adapt their electricity consumption to hours that are better for both the wallet and the environment, says David Forsberg, founder and CEO of Bright.

Bright’s digital solution enables customers to easily keep track of their electricity consumption, reduce their electricity costs and maximize the climate benefits from renewable energy. The new collaboration means that Bright’s digital solution will be offered to Jönköping Energi’s customers in the future.

We are very happy and expectant about the new collaboration with Bright. Their technology makes it easier for our customers to make sustainable choices regarding their energy use. Together with our customers, this contributes to our vision of being a good force for Jönköping, says Jessica Alaniesse-Karlsson, Marketing and Communications Manager at Jönköping Energi.

Jönköping Energi delivers electricity, heating, cooling and city networks to 55,000 customers. With the new digital solution, the company’s customers will have the opportunity to more easily make sustainable choices in their energy use and be able to administer and partially manage their services in an integrated app or on the web.

Bright was established in 2012 and was first aimed directly at consumers. Bright is now collaborating with other electricity, grid and product companies that want to offer their customers an easy opportunity to control their electricity use. The purpose is to maximize the climate benefits from renewable energy sources, reduce costs for the consumer and help Sweden’s electricity grid to cope with an increased load.
